As part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, Prestige Group proudly continues its support for Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) Awareness.
This year, we stand united with the “Heart Warriors” on February 14th, International CHD Day, to shed light on this critical health issue and advocate for the invaluable work of the Pediheart Association Cyprus.
Congenital Heart Defects are the most common type of birth defect, affecting approximately 1 in every 100 babies born. These defects can range from simple conditions that cause no problems to complex issues that can result in life-threatening complications. Raising awareness is crucial to promote early detection, support research, and ensure that affected individuals receive the necessary care throughout their lives.
The Pediheart Association Cyprus is a charitable non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, assistance, and education to individuals with congenital heart diseases and their families. Established in 1985, the association organizes various initiatives, including public information campaigns, lectures with medical professionals, workshops, and collaborative programs aimed at improving the quality of life for those affected by CHD.
This year, the association is offering special bracelets to raise funds and awareness. Each bracelet is available for €10 and can be purchased directly from the association. We encourage everyone to join us in this noble cause by acquiring a bracelet and wearing it as a symbol of solidarity with the Heart Warriors.
